I was very hesitant to write this review, because I sincerely regret tearing down such a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. And I cannot understand why the owners of such charming rooms overlook the details, which are what make the difference. Let me explain myself better, in the clearest and most exhaustive way possible. Chambre d'Hotes Maison Dominique is the Bed and Breakfast associated with the La Torretta Hotel, it is practically an annex about 300 meters from the main structure. The lady at the desk is very kind, she gave us the right advice to make the most of our time in Valle D'Aosta. The rooms are truly beautiful, tastefully furnished and very romantic. The only drawback (not minor at all) is that they are not soundproof. We were unlucky to have a family with a small child as our room neighbors, who, despite themselves, woke us up at 06.00 (and the parents did even worse, starting to sing without considering other possible room neighbors). It is truly incomprehensible why, since it is a recently restored structure, proper soundproofing has not been done. But now I come to the main reason for my criticism. In the judgments given to hotels, each traveler has their own preferences. As for me, breakfast is essential, very important. And here we really touch on the ridiculous, the incomprehensible, the unacceptable. Especially considering the price of the room (140 € per room per day). Breakfast is "served" as follows: from the previous day, there is a "set" table with two cups, two bruised apples, two small packaged pancakes, two packaged cereals, some tea and instant coffee bags (there is a kettle in the bathroom), two tiny long-life milk containers, two small jars of jam and two single portions of Nutella. Believe me, it's absolutely sad. The evening before (sic) you can pick up a bag with two slices of bread and butter at the hotel reception. That's it, end. This is the sad and absurd breakfast of a room paid 140 €. But the most incredible thing, in my humble opinion, is the absolute lack of management by the owners. Let me explain better. In the main structure there is a nice buffet breakfast. But I mean, what does it cost you to offer the same service to B&B customers? Do you prefer to give the minimum in terms of breakfast and receive negative reviews? Truly incomprehensible, senseless.
