The owner/manager is an absolute gem, and our stay was truly delightful. We felt completely at home. After our 9-month stay in Italy, it was here that I discovered the reason behind the widespread love for Italian cuisine, as we relished her outstanding, top-notch, homemade dishes at incredibly affordable prices. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking an authentic Italian experience amidst nature.

Good value for money in a quiet location within easy reach of Volterra. Swimming pool and air conditioning a bonus. Anna was very pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed our overnight stay; it was just a pity that we were the only guests so it lacked atmosphere, but we would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel Ristorante S. Elisa is very cozy, we immediately felt at home. For the typical Italian breakfast (coffee, fruit, yogurt, bread and jam) we always received a plate of cold cuts starting from the 2nd day, because the hostess noticed that we liked it. Extra stars! Good value for money, simple and good Italian cuisine at the restaurant. Very gladly again.

A charming hotel in the heart of the Volterra countryside. It was a pleasure to spend the night there, a very clean room, with all the facilities you need. It also has a pool with wonderful views of Tuscany and a good breakfast. The hotel is perfect if you have a car to visit the area. Also worth mentioning is the treatment of the owner. Thank you for everything :) we would repeat without hesitation.

Breakfast to be improved. Lacks salty options and is not very varied. Room ok, nice view over the valley. A stone's throw from Volterra. I paid the tourist tax twice and despite reporting it, I was not refunded. What a pity!

Great accommodation to visit Volterra. It is not right in the center, so to visit the city center you need to take the car and move (walking is difficult as it's all an uphill busy road), but within a ten-minute drive you arrive in the center of Volterra. The room is equipped with a minibar and has a shared terrace with a pool. Only downsides of the place: the pool water is a bit dirty (leaves and pebbles) and the bathroom is very small, with the shower consisting of a curtain next to the toilet. Mrs. Anna is very welcoming and helpful, breakfast is abundant and they prepare what you want. For the quality-price ratio and for a short stay, it is excellent.

We stayed only one night to attend an event at the Theater of Silence. We were welcomed by Anna who was very kind and courteous. The place is simply perfect, surrounded by greenery, quiet, and convenient for reaching the nearby places to visit.

Inn just below the walls of Volterra, quiet place in the countryside, great for relaxation and with children, but very close to the city. The owner is a down-to-earth, friendly and helpful lady. Rooms with independent entrance and small terrace. Possibility to have dinner or lunch, with excellent cuisine. We had a great time.

We had a great time and stayed for 6 nights. Very good breakfast and beautiful place. Surrounded by peace and a few km away from Volterra. Extremely clean room and always new towels every day. The owner is very kind and friendly. Wonderful holiday, thank you so much! We recommend the place.

Located a few kilometers from Volterra, it is a convenient point for those who want to visit the area. The pool is abandoned and the price of 70 euros per night is a bit high for what is offered, but the lady who manages it is very kind and helpful. 10/10 view.

Hotel with restaurant located just outside the center of Volterra. Extremely kind and helpful staff. We stayed for 1 night, very clean room and breathtaking panoramic view. Also, the pool near the room entrance is very beautiful and convenient. The breakfast is plentiful and the lady in charge is very helpful with every request (delicious warm croissants!). I think it's a great structure for the price we paid. If I were to return to Volterra, I will definitely come back here.

Nice location where you have a beautiful view, to be enjoyed also from the pool. Clean and well-kept rooms, the lady is extremely helpful, in addition to breakfasts she also had us over for dinner at a really affordable price. Absolutely satisfied and relaxed, I recommend.

A quiet place with a splendid view. Convenient location for those with a car looking for a peaceful retreat, in the greenery, but two minutes from the center, to enjoy every moment of the vacation. Courteous staff. I recommend it!

I stayed there only two nights alone, but I still had a good time. Easily reachable, although the uphill road is not ideal for motorcycles, but I'm not one to be intimidated by a bit of gravel. The room was very clean and functional, comfortable bed, wifi, hot shower water takes a bit of time but it's there, WC with built-in bidet (it's the first time I see one). Excellent the restaurant attached to the structure, the pappardelle with wild boar ragù are spectacular. I will definitely come back when I return to the area.

The structure enjoys a spectacular view over the entire valley below, being itself surrounded by greenery. In a few minutes on foot you are at Porta dell'Arco and from there to the historic center of the beautiful Volterra. The room is beautiful and the bathroom more than good. Mrs. Anna was very kind to us and in addition to abundant and excellent breakfasts, we experienced her as a very valid cook. Competitive price. Highly recommended to everyone. To come back.

Beautiful Hotel a stone's throw from Volterra overlooking the splendid Val di Cecina, quiet and peaceful and immersed in the greenery. The structure is well maintained and very clean; the rooms are pleasant and equipped with ceiling ventilation and air conditioning. Breakfast is accurate, quality and abundant. The Lady who manages the Hotel is very kind, helpful and attentive to the needs of the clientele.

The hotel is located at the foot of the city of Volterra and is reachable by car in a few minutes, while on foot in 15-20 minutes. It is immersed in the hills and the view is stunning. You can see the sun set over the hills and at night a lot of stars. The restaurant inside the structure (il Grillo) makes excellent pizzas, a must try! The only downside was that the only heating in the room was a heater and in March it was still cold. Despite this, we really enjoyed our stay.
