We had sent a message to the owner to inform her about our hour of arrival. When we arrived at the house, everything was closed and nobody was there to welcome us. After a few minutes, I called the owner who requested us to wait for 2 hours! So we left to visit the city. When we came back, a woman gave us the keys to the bedroom without any welcome. She just advised us to request a discount? It was only during breakfast that we met the owner. She did not make any excuses for her absence the day before and she did not speak with us. The breakfast was OK, maybe because I had requested it from the woman the day before. Regarding the bedroom, it is very basic and the furniture is very old. There were 3 of us and the bed for our son was very small and in bad condition. In conclusion, this is not a B&B but a basic hotel at a too high price. The house is not maintained at all and I understand that the owner just tries to make money. This was a very bad experience for us and I hope that B&B Italy will not include this address in its offers.

Cozy environment, attention to every detail, a feeling of great harmony. Paintings, posters, artistic objects, and books that surprise and arouse curiosity. The garden around is also very pleasant. The owner is courteous, available to answer questions and tell stories about the Buzzati family and the history of the house.

Villa Buzzati is a place full of charm, for its history, the books we have read, the drawings we remember, but above all for its current state, the patina of the external walls, the vegetation, its buildings so different and harmonious, its garden, the frame of the mountains, the silence of the night, the extremely kind welcome without being intrusive, the fact that not everything has been redone but that it has maintained its authenticity, the signs of time, the colors of the walls made so delicate, the creaky parquet of the room.
